The Breakout EA is based on trading the price breakout of resistance or congestion.
You can see at first, the price is basically trending within a narrow range surrounded by two outer lines called Bollinger bands. Suddenly there is a breakout of the lower band as indicated on the above chart.
Most day traders believe that when the price closes outside of the bands, and of course this breakout requires validating by the several indicators used by days traders of course used by this EA.
The next candle needs to fallback against the movement of the first candle, this has to be just right, too much or too little movement will give a positive indicating of one indicator and negative on the other thus invalidating that pattern.
The next candle needs to break the support of the previous two candles, but before this, the movement of this candle requires validation by the indicators, when this is achieved on breaking of the support a short position can be initiated.
This EA was constructed to create an efficient means of trading daily, using the M1 to M30 charts.
There are around 18 currency pairs to trade (dependant on your broker), and of course 5 possible chart periods for this type of trade, that is 90 charts to watch! This of course is too much for most people, but no for a computer!
